How to link definitions

Page history last edited by David Stanford 1 yr ago

When writing content on this wiki, it would be good to have specifically Hellenistic terms, such as oikodespotes linked to the page of definitions.  I will provide a skeleton format for the definitions page, so that it will be easy to fill in the blanks.  Now, figuring a modern equivalent for all words is not possible, as in the case here.  But some words, such as horoskopos could be replaced with ascendant and linked to the definitions page for the word horoskopos.  Here is an example:

Blah blah blah, and the ascendant blah bla bha bla bla bla.

Notice that the term ascendant is linked to a definition page for the word horoskopos.  This allows you to replace the preferred term with the modern "equivalent" without losing the word's value.  Then, on the page that it's linked to, it's linked back to Hellenistic-Astrology.com's list of definitions, where it will be permanently archived.  In the above example, I've only linked it back to the definiton temlate so you all can see the format in which the definitions should be written.

Got to sleep.

Edit me!

I am tired, I hope I'm making sense.  If not, I can, or somebody else can edit this tomorrow.
